S&P 500 hits record high on ceasefire hopes, risk assets rally

The S&P 500 rose 0.57% (roughly 40 points) to a new record, while SPY gained 0.5% or $3.54. For the month of April, the S&P 500 is up over 10%, marking its best monthly return since November 2020. Bitcoin recovered to $75,746, gaining roughly $960 in a single day, while credit and gold rallied in tandem.
