TSMC Q1 net income surges 58% on extreme AI chip demand

TSMC reported Q1 revenue of NT$1.134 trillion (roughly $35 billion) and net income of NT$572.48 billion, beating market consensus. CEO C.C. Wei stated: 'AI-related demand is extremely robust,' guiding for USD revenue growth exceeding 30% in 2026 and Q2 revenue of $39–40.2 billion. The bulk of Nvidia's $95.2 billion supply commitment flows through TSMC.
