Anthropic launches Claude Opus 4.7, strengthens agentic coding

Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.7 on April 16. The model outperforms Opus 4.6 across agentic coding, multi-domain reasoning, tool use, and computer-use benchmarks while holding prices steady. The company acknowledged falling short of its unpublished 'Mythos' system and introduced automated blocking of cybersecurity-risk requests. The model is available simultaneously on AWS Bedrock, Azure, and GCP.
