Tesla Robotaxi Expands to Dallas and Houston; Samsung Taylor Fab Begins AI5/AI6 Production

Tesla's Robotaxi service expanded from Austin to Dallas and Houston on April 24. The same day, Samsung Electronics held a groundbreaking ceremony at its Texas Taylor foundry and began production ramp for Tesla's AI5 and AI6 autonomous driving chips using 2nm process technology. In Tesla's Q1 earnings call on April 22, Musk confirmed that Cybercab production has commenced at Giga Texas.
