Brent Crude Surpasses $108, June Contracts Up 3%

On the 26th, Brent June futures closed at approximately $108.23 per barrel, up roughly 3% from $105.07 on the 23rd. Since the outbreak of conflict in late February, prices have surged over 50%. The IEA characterizes this as the largest global oil supply shock in history.
