Apple Explores Domestic Chip Production with Intel and Samsung

According to Bloomberg, Apple is reviewing main processor production with Intel and Samsung in addition to its current TSMC arrangements. Intel stock surged 13% on May 5 to an all-time high. The PHLX Semiconductor Index has jumped 35.2% since April. Meta separately raised its AI infrastructure budget guidance to $125–145 billion, accelerating the global realignment of semiconductor supply chains.
