Constitution Day Restored as Public Holiday After 18 Years — Three-Day Weekend
Constitution Day has been restored as a public holiday for the first time in 18 years. Falling on a Friday this year, July 17–19 becomes a three-day weekend, with travel and accommodation bookings surging. The 78th Constitution Day ceremony was held at the National Assembly under the slogan 'People's Sovereignty, Opened by the Constitution,' and President Lee Jae-myung attended a citizens' event at Cheong Wa Dae.
