Lee Declares $950 Billion Korea-US AI and Semiconductor Cooperation in Silicon Valley
President Lee signed an MOU with six VCs managing $313 billion in assets—a16z, Sequoia, General Catalyst, Khosla, Lightspeed, NEA—and the National Pension Service to expand joint Korean startup investment at a venture meeting in San Francisco. The day before, Samsung, SK, Hyundai, and Naver executives joined Lee to agree on approximately $950 billion in semiconductor and AI cooperation with Nvidia and others.
