Fed Holds at 3.5-3.75%... 4 Dissents Mark Highest Disagreement Since 1992

The Federal Reserve's FOMC maintained the benchmark rate at 3.5-3.75% despite four policy committee members dissenting—the highest number of dissenters since 1992. Only Governor Michelle Miran voted for a rate cut; the other three opposed the statement's 'easing bias' language. The meeting is regarded as Powell's de facto final one as Chair.
