First International Fossil Fuel Transition Conference Concludes in Colombia

The inaugural international conference on transitioning away from fossil fuels concluded in Santa Marta from April 24-29. Against a backdrop of global crude oil supply plummeting to 97 mb/d in March—a decline of 10.1 mb/d or roughly 11%—due to Middle Eastern conflicts, the central agenda focused on converting a 'coalition of will' into a 'coalition of action.'
