Oracle made the largest single cut at 30,000; Meta has another 8,000 planned for May 20; Amazon cut 30,000 over the past five months; and Microsoft used voluntary departures to remove about 125,000. As capex shifts toward AI data centers, GPUs, and robotics, content, customer support, and coding roles are taking the direct hit.
